Carles Porta returns with the second season of Luz en la oscuridad (Light in the Dark), with his creation of rigorous and high-quality true crime.
El descuartizador de Majadahonda, La Confesión de O Chucán, El churrero de Chiclana and El crimen de las Turistas are the four new cases that will take us to Madrid, rural Galicia, Cádiz and Aragón in double episodes.
Luz en la oscuridad, a Movistar Plus+ original in collaboration with True Crime Factory and Goroka, develops the genre according to what Porta describes as “the rule of the three Rs”: Rigour, Respect and (narrative) Rhythm. Rigour, based on police and journalistic investigation and legally established facts. Respect for all those involved, especially the victims. And a narrative Rhythm that combines many elements: script, direction, editing and music, always with cinematographic quality.
The title of the series reflects the narrative and formal concept: to shed light on the dark corners of our society through the story of crimes that have taken place in Spain in recent years. And to do it as if it were a film. But it is real.
